Cantine Casa D'Ambra calls the little island of Ischia in the bay of Naples home.  It is a family run cantina currently headed by proprietor and chief enologist, Andrea D'Ambra, whose continuing devotion to the indigenous grapes of Campania in general and Ischia in particular is a cause for celebration.

Casa D'Ambra is one of the leading estate's of the south, and is known particularly for its whites from the Biancolella and Forastera grapes.  The grapes are grown on its terraced vineyards at 500m up the volcano that is the centre of the island, see picture opposite.
