The sommeliers association of Italy awarded this wine their highest rating of 5 out of 5.  The 'bible' of Italian wine, "Italian Wines" also gave it their highest award.  And wine spectator has awarded it 92 Points for 3 separate vintages.  It retails for €32 euros in Napoli, but we have it at the very special price of €26.  This is a single vineyard's wine, coming from the oldest and best exposed vineyard in the estate.  It is hand picked, before being matured slowly in oak and then left to age in bottle for eighteen months.

We are pleased to say it was the red wine of the week in the Irish Times Wine Review, follow the link to read it.
