Casa D'Ambra has been mentioned in many wine periodicals and books, in particular their use of indigenous varieties and centuries old vineyards came in for special praise. Decanter magazine made numerous references to both it and its wines in its special supplement on Italian wines in Feb 2007. Per' 'e Palummo is a perfect example of the native Piedirosso grape.
