It is no understatement to say that this is one of the best Pinot Grigio's you can buy. Volpe Pasini have been doing ground breaking work with the white grape varieties of Friuli since it was purchased by the Emilio Rotolo eleven years ago. Their Tocai and their Chardonnay are both fantastic, but its their Pinot Grigio that really shines. A clear, clean and lush Pinot, this is a great example of the Pinot Grigio from the best region that grows it. The 2006 was awarded the regional 'Oscar' for best wine from Friuli 2008. We are all sold out of the '06 but we have just received the 2007 which is excellent.
