Made from the casavecchia grape which was rediscovered 30 years ago.  One of the few grape varieties that survived the waves of grape disease during the 19th century.  An amazing find and an amazing wine, with lots distinctive flavours and full bodied complexity.  The sommeliers association of Italy awarded this their second highest rating of four grapes out of five.
